• I Hate This Place is a horror game in which you will have to survive on wit in a cursed land infested with reality-distorting nightmares and terrifying creatures dwelling in the darkness. Build things with what you find, use stealth and fight to get out alive.
• Record every corner of Rutherford Ranch to stay alive: from enchanted forests to infested bunkers to a ruined village. Explore a world full of dangers and gather vital resources, build essential equipment, upgrade your campsite, and rebuild stalls to hide in.
• The game has a day-night cycle that changes the world completely. Take advantage of daylight to explore, collect supplies, manufacture whatever you need, and prepare for what’s ahead. At nightfall, real nightmares go for a walk. More enemies will appear, and stronger and more aggressive than ever. It is not easy to move around the environment with your flashlight alone. Sometimes your best asset will be to seek refuge and shelter until dawn breaks.
• Stealth and combat go hand in hand, as many of the wicked creatures of Rutherford Ranch stalk you and hunt guided by the sound. Brute force will soon take you to the grave. Use the sound to your advantage and drive the creatures out of your way, or back them to the deadly traps you have set for them.
• I Hate This Place is inspired by the Eisner Award-nominated eponymous comic series created by Kyle Starks and Artyom Topilin. Here it comes to life with a bold color palette, retro comic book style and large doses of eighties airs. A unique blend of horror, black humor, and the right point of extravagance and gore, where the most haunting dread meets an overwhelming charisma.

• Puzzles x Battle x RPG – Repair the fragmented land through puzzles and rid
the world of darkness by defeating monsters.
• As you develop the land, more resources can be obtained and even stores can
be accessed. Once a certain number of facilities have been established and the
area is enclosed by fences, walls, or gates, it will become a village or town, and
you can give it a unique name.
• A variety of monsters may appear in the land you explore. They can harm or
damage the land they occupy, so be sure to take care of them with the help of
your teammates. When battle commences, your teammates will attack
automatically. Your role as the Restorer will be to grant Mana to them
throughout the battle’s duration. Through granting them Mana, the skill sets in
their weapons will be charged, eventually allowing them to perform an extra
powerful attack.
• Restoration Puzzles are a mission exclusive to the Restorer. By clearing the
puzzle, the fragmentation of the land is then eliminated, restoring the land to its
former state.
